At the end of June, 2001, the OC Lab students decided to take the day off to celebrate Asaf's birthday.

 We started out at the park and then took a spontaneous walk to the beach (where several students discovered the wonders of sand-crabs for the first time).

We wrapped up the day at Michelle's place with cake and games. Little did we know that this would become an annual OC Lab event.
